Note Grid
Manuscript paper, kanji practice sheets, graph paper. Notebook grids, straight from the page.
Draws 9 kinds of grid: manuscript paper (genkō yōshi), kanji practice (with cross guides), furigana, graph paper, dot grid, ruled lines, underline, English 4-line, and calligraphy. Panel places a board of Columns × Rows cells, and you can click (or drag) cells on the panel to show or hide them individually. Fill Layer covers the whole layer with cells. Shift lets you offset the cells row by row (alternate, steps, V shape, wave, random). You can also pick the type from the gallery at the top of the effect.
Parameters
The same order as the Effect Controls panel. Hover (or tap) an item for its description. The sliders move too (the picture doesn’t).

Tips
- When placing lyrics one character per cell, match the text layer's tracking to Cell Size and they sit nicely in the cells.
- Hide cells in Panel and you get manuscript paper with exactly as many cells as characters.
